Quick question about fireblade oil filter!

The Fury was in need of a service, and as I'm hoping the weather is going to hold out for a run with some colleagues tomorrow morning I decided I'd do a quick oil, oil filter and sparks change this evening.

Could someone confirm whether the oil filter on the fireblade (893cc RR) is normal or reverse threaded! The replacement I've bought (determined by the OpieOils filter finder) has a normal thread, but I can't for the life of me get the bl**dy thing off. This isn't helped by restricted access meaning I'm struggling to get a screwdriver through it. Any other suggestions on how to get it off welcome!

I would guess that the thread is of normal RH form, it certainly is on my 919 blade engine and I would think the 893 is the same.
