The car is going to be called the LP560/4 not LP550 as rumoured apparently. According to an informed poster on another forum the power is 560hp,the car is as fast as 997 GT2, and Lambo claims it is more than 12s faster on the Ring then current Gallardo SL.

Final quote from the source of the info:

"Rear suspension is almost the same (as R8). New Brakes are also almost the same (as R8). Engine is, well the best engine in the world and second best engine in the world will be in the forthcoming R8 V10(basically the same engine just with 520hp and a different intake - less aggressive system). Sound? The exhaust under idle is pretty silent but a full sound. BUT... When you push the throttle you get full thermonuclear reaction sound and power wise! It is a pure miracle how Lamborghini achieved low CO2 emissions and that sound according to some people who actually heard test mules."

Sounding better all the time!

Those brakes are massive, fill the wheels very nicely.

Quick google translation gives "GT3 Reiter" to mean "GT3 Rider/Slider?"

I think the GT3 Reiter logo is a bit of humorous camo by the test team to attempt to fool spy photographers to believe that they are seeing a Reiter modified race car.

Hi

Sometimes I think that you have to see something in the flesh to know wether you like it or not also colours I think also play a big factor in cars.

How much will this new Lambo be going on sale for please

In Europe it's reputedly going to be 6% above the current Gallardo price which seems pretty reasonable for the amount of changes made to the car. We'll have to wait and see what that translates to in the UK.
