Sunday Blackpool Meeting?

I've just been past the Shovels and it says it is closed till monday and the carpark entrances are blocked. Does anyone know whats happening?

I have just rung the Shovels Inn and they are closed as they have an electrical problem. For simplicity, and because of the short notice, we will meet at the Fairfield Arms which is just off junction 3 of the M55. I will be at the Shovels from 11.00 to re direct people and will stay there until mid day. At that time I will leave notices on the gate posts of the pub and then come on to the Fairfield arms. Dave welton.... PS John Mleczek is on holiday so Russ Larcombe and I will be covering in his place.

the shovels is closed on police grounds because there is a large group of (travelling) people coming to blackpool and they might trash the place!
