It's MOT time again and one of the headlights on my 400se has a big crack in it. They are Cibie units, and i was wondering if anybody knows on what other cars they were used?

If they have not got stock,

I can loan you one, and once you find one just replace it.

Thanks for the offer Leigh, but unfortunately we Dutch guys drive on the wrong side of the road so I need the LHD versions...

They are just a standard 7" sealed beam unit replacement, two types from cibie (4 if you include ones with built in sidelights )rounded glass fronts and a later upgrade with flat glass, M.G specialist,or local Valeo agent will be able to help.Tempus smile

They are used on Land Rovers (Defenders, etc).
So shouldn't be too difficult to source one in Holland either. Probably you can lent one for a bear from a friend for the duration of the test wink - no I don't own a defender......

And it is strange that stuff always happens close to MOT-time isn't it? My rear brakes are now binding and MOT is in a months time. Probably need to overhaul the lot.....

you could allways do this, and fit 90mm hella's

I've made a CF front cover also. but this is removable so you can get to the adjusters.

You not wrong, would not have wanted to pay someone to do it.
