I stupidly bought these two games here in Italy, rather than waiting to buy from Amazon.uk. I didn't think the languages would be so restrictive (Italian and Spanish only!)
It isn't too bigger deal with most of the levels, but it has been a prob when I need to do specific objectives (Took me a while to realise what I had to do regarding the cool sniper mission in COD4)!

Is there any way I can download something that would allow me to add an English language pack? I am sure I'd enjoy the games even more.

Cheers,

Chris

ETA - For the PC, BTW....

A bit about Crysis I found regarding a Thai version and trying to get it to English...
http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/lofiversion/index.ph...

Seems EA thought they'd start making language packs by region as opposed to the old way of adding them all.... rolleyes

Just had a quick look at this -

It looks like it does English to other languages, not sure if it does it the opposite way though?
I would imagine there would be an English patch, if there is a foreign language patch... smile

Hi Chris! smile

I bet Gaz does sound a little stupid! hehe
I wonder whether there would be anyway of me copying the audio files out of the game directories... scratchchin If not, I have a UK iso for Crysis smile

Oh and did you get GTR2 in the end?
I was having a good blast on that with the G25 earlier, epic fun! thumbup

Hiya smile,

yes, I installed GTR2 (after uninstalling Vista and re-installing XP) - the game plays great with the X Box 360 controller!

I had another long go on Crysis last night (Seems look better in DX9!!), fantastic visuals, loke COD4 (But developers please, stop the re-spawning of enemies until an objective is reached, it takes the edge off what could be a classic game (same applies to COD4) - Sometimes, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do, and have to rely soley on the compass indicator!

I will try and see if I can sort out some English language files (Was easy to change for IL2 1946)

I'm getting tempted by Vista, is it really that bad? hehe
I'd def want the 64-bit edition of either Ultimate or Home Premium, along with probably 8Gb RAM. smile
My XP Pro runs fine though and if I had any problems with Vista I'd really kick myself!
I do like Crysis and CoD4 though, great fun!
