T350C Oil temp

Can anyone help?Had t350 out for the first time yesterday and it was struggling to get up to 40 degrees after a good 10 to 15 miles.When it finally reached temp it was only when i was changing down the gears for a junction,then when i was starting to throttle it temp was dropping back to 32 degrees cheers.
Agree may be sender, but will seldom get near recommended temps at this time of year as sender/tank are in airstream at front of car. Not best spot for it 
We did a long topic on this a few winters ago.... the conclusion, confirmed by several factory contacts, was that if water temp is at 80+ and you've been driving above 30 for at least 15 mins, then the engine would be up to temp for full revs.

Now that is an interesting topic. Posted same re Sagaris. I have been trying to get to 60 degrees oil whilst keeping at 2500 rpm. Impossible, even after a good 40 mins driving temp still at about 44 degs. Water temp easy to get to 80. Do you still recommend getting to 60 degs oil before using higher rpm?

Not necessary, in this weather actual engine oil temp is way above temp of oil tank that's all that distance away and in cold air (would be closer in Summer temps). So enjoy! 
No way that reading is accurate, probably a sender issue. Get her checked!
IME, from start-up the oil temp lags the water temp by up to 30 degrees for a few miles. Finally water temp stabilises mid-90s; the oil in the 70s. Until I reach motorway speeds, when the indicated oil speed drops (due to airflow around the sender). Or I get stuck in traffic, when the oil starts to approach the water temp (as I would expect).
