I'm about to rent a workshop. Previous occupants were a drinks distribution company.

There are about 50 beer kegs outside.

The previous occupants have tried for ages to get the kegs removed by the respective breweries, but they refuse to come and get them.

Now, i know there are laws preventing me disposing of them, so can i deliver them to the brewers concerned and bill them for my costs? Would my claim for costs be valid in a Court if i had to sue to get my money back.

There must be some way of getting off the premises legally...

Ebay? People will buy anything smile

Semi serious suggestion - you may find they are useful to small breweries.

I don't think the problem was getting rid of them as such, but rather that they are not yours to get rid of.

Write to the breweries who own them and say if they don't remove them within 14 days you'll dispose of them at their expense?

Where are you located ?

I'll come and get them if you're local enough to me!

That was my plan, however i understand they are difficult to dispose of in terms of the legality of being in posssesion of them???? If so, i will have aproblem getting anyone to take them..
