I've just come back from a short drive and a quick play with a motorbike....

Which couldn't get away.

Fair enough, it wasn't a 750 or litre class supersport, but it was a 1400cc Yamaha and they're not exactly slow!!

It's what Sunday afternoons are for!!

What was it - a Vmax?

Roads are still a bit greasy so I wouldn't be prepared to give it too much beans. My zzr12 can spin the rear wheel up the third gear if I'm not careful.

The roads around here aren't too bad at the mo, thought about taking my GSXR for a spin, but fancied something with a radio

Well that was a buzz! Driving along, I came across an abandoned runway (well, it looked like one) and - isn't it amazing how effortlessly, and quickly, these cars get to 145mph!

Didn't push for more as the runway was running out.

And just as I'd slowed to legal limits there was a cop car with his hairdryer out!

Reminds me of an occurance round the bristol ringroad....I was in the racer and this biker deliberatley slowed down round a roundabout off the A4...I was pottelling along quite happy but he bated me us see....we sped off at ***...he undertook and got away...fair enough I thought...didn't expect to do much but av a laugh...but then he waited for me again near the next roundabout, but traffic was in the way...then again he waited at the next aswell but no traffic...ho ho ho...i dropped into 2nd and nailed it of this one...he didn't get away...in fact i had to blend out slightly in 3rd not to hit him !

The next roundabout was where I get off...the lights were red and he sort of waddled the bike over from the 3rd to the inside lane...goes weel m8 he says...whats in it ?...just a 4.2 V8 is reply...I din't bother to explain that if he'd got out the way I would have been up along side if not passed...LOL.

The description I passed on to "bike pepes" said it sounds like a Ducati 999 !....WTFDIK !!!
