Ahhhhh...... I'm on holiday (well sort of) so havn't seen my subscrption mag yet.
Brakes WILL be sorted with the addition of new calipers at the front....
I have also found that the super sticky yokohams that were on the R500 (road legal track tyre) come in as size that will fit my front..... and I did severly flat spot one tyre......

Were the Yokos A032R's?
They use Avon ACB10s on the really aggressive Caterhams. That said, these are crossplies and I'm not sure mixing those with the radials at the back would be wise
Will be getting Autocar tomorrow from Smiths as I am a non subscriber. Well done Andy for spanking the Zonda on the 0-100 tho'
Cheers

The Ecsta V70A will fit front and back. They are a Dot legal R compound. Don't expect to much mileage out of them thou.

Yes, quite fabulous stuff, Andreas.
I feel quite honoured to have passengered you in Red Sonja along the hallowed strip not that long ago.
Your car is quite the most violent exponent of the human/insect interface technique devised since Jeff Goldblum's experiment went a tad skew-whiff.

Well done Andy. You should have no problem selling your car now! Although it might be a bit hard to let it go now that it's famous.
I have searched everywhere for a copy of Autocar but no one locally has it on their shelves, so I will get it from Menzies or WHSmiths' tomorrow.
Well done Andy, top effort. I had to chuckle at the Autocar art department though. You really confused them. So much so that your Can-Am metomophisized into an Elise MkII in the siloette picture. Maybe it had been through DerR's well remembered Sci-fi machine.
Oh yea, Simon, the mag comes out a day early to subscribers. It should be in the shops from tomorrow. (Also, I haven't forgotten you generous offer for the coil .... I'll ring you! Also Clive, I'll post your cheque mate

Just to put a cat amongst the pigeons here did any of you guys notice the standing mile times? I see the Tuscan was nearly a second quicker than the Ultima and of all the road cars only the Zonda was faster!
Yes indeed: a glorious restoration of the ballsy, Tivotic reputation from a car which, quite honestly, is sculpted on high, by a Norse God with a clear intention of thunderous lightning delivery.
In black, just about the finest looking thing available today. IMHO, naturellement.

and just to put the cat back.... the mile time for my car wasn't exactly full on, more of a warm up for the 0-100-0 times.
Only so much testing they can do with so many cars...... this was the reason the two replica's didn't have any mile times, chosing to concentrate on the 0-100-0 runs.
Not withstanding the TVRs times were awsome and it is Oh so lurvly.

Ah, but there's more than one Ultima out there. Andy would be the first to admit that his isn't the most powerful (nor is mine come to that).
Imagine Kurt Dobson's twin Turbo doing the same test!!!
