Back to the watches thread. we have decided what watches we have whilst driving our pride and joys. Am going to buy my good lady a new watch. What should our female passengers be wearing.

The classic ladies watch 'must have' is a Cartier.

But get her one that suits her wrist/hand size etc. Ultimately get her the watch she wants.

I.e. After trying loads on, my wife ended up with a ladies Rolex, because it suited her more than all the others.

There's a nice crystal one in the porsche possessions brochure, though for some reason it's not on the porsche gb web site.

If your lady is tall and blond then a white ceramic Technomarine looks great if she is dark haired with olive skin buy her a mens Panari steel with natral leather strap

I think a Rolex Daytona In white Gold with the Coloured Face and coloured leather strap looks great. Jodie Kid wears one when she races I think.

There is actually a perfectly good watches sub forum on PH.

Just to explain my post, this thread was moved from the Porsche sub forum.

She already has Rolex (Lady Date), but whilst at a function on Saturday she said, I really need a dress watch. Suggestions please.

What kind of style is she?

Cartier Tank is a classic, but slightly more of the 'tennis' set.

If she is quite modern, how about a rado - they are small (but horrid, IMHO).

Chopard 'Happy Diamonds' is also a classic (but quite bling).

If you're around London, how about walking down Burlington Arcade, and seeing what takes her fancy?

If your lady has wrists big enough for a mans Panari I'd be worried!

Very good! But it is quite fashionable for women to wear men’s sports Rolex’s - my Mrs would not wear a ladies stainless Rolex - she has a 1930‘s Rolex rose gold dress watch but doesn’t wear that either – she wears a dress Certina with leather strap.
