1.9TDi servicing advice

hi folks, I had my work car serviced at a main dealer last November, on the 'longlife' oil program. 3 months and 4000 miles later, the servicing light is on again.

Spoke to the garage, they reckon the 'puter was not properly reset.

any thoughts? Should I take their word and just get it reset, or does it smell like bull and I should suspect a halfarsed job?

i would probably say computer reset error.
even if you arsed the car the ealriest change would be 10k.
the car has sensors and monitors the driving style

I was getting 25,000 miles between services previously, so 4k is definitely something wrong...
