Saggy bonnet

So how do you get the main bonnet off a Sagaris??

I've un-done the screws either side near the windscreen and then it looks as-if it just pulls out.........but mine won't budge

Am I missing something, is there something else that needs to le loosened off or is mine just stuck??

Lean over the front of the car ( carefull if you have a belt/beltbuckle on - or of slipping! ) and look down inside towards the front. You will see two spring pins holding down the front of the main bonnet approx. 6" in from the edge which simply pull back, turn slightly and release the bonnet ( toggle pins ). If your car has had the bonnet recall, it should also have two z-cleats to prevent lift, at the front adjacent to the toggle pins. Unless your Phil Vickery, you will need assisstance in removing the main bonnet, and take it slowly!! The z-cleats are particularly hazardous.

Thanks for the advice both. I struggled last weekend to release the toggle pins. I'm away on business at the moment, will give it another go at the weekend.

Guys, struggling big time to get the bonnet off my Sagaris - have no idea how to release these toggle pins. Can anyone expand on the above and give the most clear way of describing how it is done???
