Has anyone out there got an 08 R6 with an aftermarket pipe on? I'm looking for a slip-on only but preferably a GP style one.

I like the look of the Racefit slashcut or the graves one. But I see that the Akraprovik equivalent is only 140quid delivered, it also comes with a removable baffle (as if i'd use that tho....)

Has anyone got any of these? I'd be keen to get any opinions.

Yamaha themselves use Akra's for its R6 YEC race kits. It really is the best available exhaust on the market.

I have the racefit slashcut on my 06, much better noise than the stock exhaust but not too loud so that you can't get on track.

Booooo - Akraprovik have confirmed that the 2008 bike is different to the 06/07 model and that they wont be shipping the exaust to dealers until 15th March.

Looks like I'll have to try the "remove the can altogether" option for now as recommended on the R6 forum.
