Euro rap

I am new to the Piston heads forum but has anyone seen Euro rap? It is a system of road grading for safety! Somebody is driving around our road system grsding the road according to its safety features. (like encap for cars) Is it just me or is this a waste of time and money. Our roads are already graded- motorways, A roads B roads etc. I would expect a B road to be less safe than an A road and would adjust my driving style accordingly. I would not expect a tree to jump out and hit me on a motorway but it could happen on a minor country road.

What happens after the grading is complete? Will we expect to see a"Safety Camera" adjacent to every tree which lines our country lanes?
