Has anybody got any pics of a Tuscan with these fitted?

Just want to compare to the CCCs I have and see if I prefer the blueflames.

Didn't sound very good on mine at all, I had them removed after 20 minutes.

My understanding is that Std. Tuscan Convertible Exhausts (carbon ones) are Blue Flame, made in Skem....

So I believe, and these are the ones that ended up blowing out on the motorway !

After getting new ones sleeved i didn't like the sound so went for CCCs. Still not sure I like the sound either. Maybe have to get the other blueflames aftermarket sharknose ones to hear the difference.

Mine seem pretty solid, checking the welds...famous last words!!!!...I've heard of a few Tuscan 2 Targas loosing there's because of the welds, only problem I've had is the flexible strap that holds them to the chassis...It has a tendence to come off....That may be what causes the extra strain that doesn't help the bad welds...I'm not sure if Mk2 targas have the same cans as convertibles...no doubt someone will confirm or not.

PS Everyone I pass ,seem to like the noise

Cans are normally the same on the Vert & Targa although mine arrived with Blue Flame bull nosed titanium cans which have a nice deep sound to them.I have had that same problem with the chassis strap coming off although have managed to sort it out by lowering the can slightly which puts more tension on the strap.

Yes.

standard exhausts look great but are very poor build quality. CCCs much better made.

That's the understatement of the century - they are appalling. I've now had three original Blueflame cans self-destruct in the last 9 months, all due to failure of the welding on the perforated baffles. Two of them actually fell off at high speed on motorways, though thankfully didn't hit anyone. I've had the current ones MIG welded by a local exhaust manufacturer, Scott and Hayward, who were dumbstruck by the build quality of the original ones. I also remember a guy on here whose Blueflame shark-nose cans fell apart, too. Wouldn't touch 'em with a bargepole.
