Hi ho,

Have read the "bible" and it says that there is another way to open the boot if the under-dash button does not work.

I looked were it told me to look and there is nothing there save for a little hole, about a pencil diameter wide!!

So what now? Is something missing from there or have I mis-read the instructions?

Also, is the door release "rip cord" meant to be so loose that the handle comes away from the supporting hole before there is sufficient tension in the cable to open the door?

TIA

Do you have a rear number plate that is flush or recessed?

Then sorry I can't help. Someone with a backlit plate model will have to come to your assistance.
