Has anyone here fitted one of those 175Amp connector to there chimera for jump starting and for flat batteries. Was thinking about putting it in the nose some where out of site but easy to reach, then getting an eart from the end of the chassis rail by the radiator then run a positive off the starter motor. Is this ok or should I really run straight off the battery.

Run it to the starter motor, that's where the current will most be needed IMO. You could the also earth it off the chassis earth on in the drivers side front outrigger.

Oh and make sure you can access it without opening the bonnet, it will be a life save when the battery dies and locks you out.

I have one fitted under my bonnet by the plenum.
I've never used to jump start, only for charging the battery.

It's called an "Anderson Connector"
