decat-much difference??

i have a slightly unusual 400 chim in that it was built for a guy in jersey and didnt have cats fitted as standard.im led to believe that this should make the car breathe a bit better.in the paperwork from a couple of yrs ago it was running 230bhp with seems to be pretty good for a 400?also in terms of a bit of mild tuning im wondering whats my best course of action? any thoughts appreciated.

These are cheap and relativly easy things to fit, and will give you a starting point.

What sort of money are we talking for these?

i am happy with it but never hurts to get the best out of these things.one thing im wondering if it has the stock ecu or would it be different because of the cats? excuse my ignorance but i am curious
