Mercedes Benz World- AMG experience

Mrs and I did one of these yesterday and spent an hour on the track her in and CL63 AMG me in an SL55 AMG, also saw the 'STIG' there in an SLR giving it some beans.

Those AMG's were awesome and you get pretty much free range for 30+ mins after they take you around. Good value for money compared to most race track drives and its made the Mrs want to spend a fortune on the monaro!!

I nearly perfected my drifting!!

The SL55's are great cars, my Wife has got one. It feels considerably quicker and uses a lot more fuel than my Ro does but it's a great way of blowing your money. Did you have a drive in the CL ?

There were some real hunnies.. I was with the wife so EYES FRONT!!


I only did the SL as I knew the MRS real liked the CL. She loved the engine and the car. Still prefers her Monaro though which is why I can see an expensive year coming up what with the mods she is now wanting.

The SL55's breaks were very impressive, I think that more than the acceleration impressed me.

Most likely go again. The 'driving specialists' were nice guys, both the ones we had were proper racing instructors and the lad I had was keen to get me drifting.
