Chaps,

I will soon be in need of two new rear tyres but it appears that the Goodyear Eagle Venturas with which the car is currently shod are no longer available in 195/70 size....at least from anywhere I've tried. So, firstly, does anyone know where I might still be able to get these and, secondly, what are all you fine M-series owners running on your T-slots nowadays?

Try www.mytyres.co.uk

They are showing Eagle Ventura as available.

Cheers for that link Colin, I've never seen the MyTyres site before. Have you used them?

I bought 4 Goodyear Eagle F1s from them earlier this year, arrived within 2 days, shipped from Germany. Hope they have what you need in stock.

Fulda Carat Assuros. Don't remember the exact aspect ratios but I've got 195 front and 205/65 or 70 rears.

205/70s are too big for the rears, will hit the arches on full suspension travel on some cars (depends on suspension softness, wheel arch mould, body poistioning on chassis, all TVR variables). I personally would run with 195/70s a size fitted originally to the turbo cars.

Have a look at Avon, they do quite a lot of old profile sized rubber.

(One of the reasons I went to 15" wheels was decent tyre availability)
