Max the German VCA President called me this morning to invite the UK to Germany for his major event of the year.

I know its the same weekend as VOI and many of you will be going there, but some may not.

This is a 2-3 day event:-

Arrive about 3:00 for a cruise around the countyside near the 'Ring'

Dinner etc

Saturday: Autocross, Drag Racing and track if you wish, base was originally a Helcopter training school and is still owned by the military so its VIN numbers and passport numbers before we go.

Saturday night we will cruise down the Mosel river for Dinner and Fireworks.

Sunday morning more cruising (car)

Lunch then depart.

Cost is 400 Euro's per couple includes all the above including Hotel.

If you don't fancy the track there will be a show and shine area, if wet in a hangar.

Sounds very good value, and I will go booking closes 31st of March as the German VCA have booked the whole hotel.

More details from Max seems like some fun Autocross is non damaging (unless your a cone) 1/4 mile is some fun and the regularity is timed laps, slow or fast closest to his original time wins.

Probably will leave early Thursday on the Chunnel .

And best bit for big Viper Steaks and food all day saturday....lick

the Autobahn's are close to the hotel, wonder if they are de-restricted wink

Hotel Mosella-Tanzburg is Germany's largest party hotel, half-way located between the Mosel and various vineyards. The two autobahn junctions (A61 and A48) are approx. 7 km from the hotel.

This family-run hotel is beautifully embedded in a scenic landscape. The town of Kobern-Gondorf offers a historical old town with market place, which is only 30 metres from the hotel, and the oldest half-timbered house of Germany.

Enjoy the beautiful surrounding, with castles, monuments, gravesites and royal palaces to explore - ideal conditions for convivial, cultural and recreational holidays.
