Nice bit of welding...Interesting plenum - how do you ensure equal airflow ?

Personally I think the airflow would equal itself out - as the pressure would equalise (all the pipes seem to be the same size).
SO - why are you really selling..
Scared of the POWER

Hmm - looks almost there, although the crank pulley might be a challenge.
You could always try Dennis Priddle - he might be able to get one made.
Yes the throttle body is before the charger (it causes low pressure in the charger on part throttle opening, which in turn means lower drag on the vanes, and less input power to the charger, so it's better for economy, operating temp, etc...)
If I were doing this from scratch I might be tempted to go Megasquirt or similar, and use no airflow meter, but rely on the MAP sensor, air temp, and engine RPM, to work out air mass. This has the added benefit of less impedance in the air flow.
Is it really a 3.5l engine?

Have you dropped the CR from 9.75:1 (assuming it's still the original Vittesse engine of course!)?

Compression ratio has not yet been dropped, was planning on fitting a thicker head gasket. Was concentrating on engineering the installation first.

If supercharging inlet resistance should not be an issue because the engine will be pumped full.. If I have understood the English correctly.Off topic: Anybody tried to 'comprex' a rover V8 (saw an old mazda xedos and this sprang to mind). Should have the benefit of a compressor without sapping so much power as it is only required to synchronise the cylinder generating to the inlet charging pulses.
Pistolar, shame you won't finish the project. Would have been a nice addition to the list of specials you have built over time.

I installed a plenum pressure gauge on the 400SX and it's quite instructive.
The boost is severely curtailed unless the throttle is 100% wide open, even 90% has an effect, and below 75% you may as well have no supercharger at all.
So I would be very surprised if the flapper didn't choke the air flow significantly, maybe by as much as 1 psi.
Interestingly, the air filter has a negligible effect.
