The Midland pub is on the bend by the bandstand, just as you get to Matlock Bath if coming from Matlock. If you are coming the other way it is just after the bandstand on the bend as you leave Matlock Bath.

On the main road, just down from the pub, by the shops. It isn't too busy this time of year.There is a car park behind the pub for two cars if you are there early.
There is also a public car park off the bend, which I think some people have used. I seem to remember it has a huge speed hump into it.
