Tamora - any fuel problems?

Per reading the article in Evo about the T350 - does the Tamora suffer from the same problem with regards to putting fuel in the car, i.e petrol spurting out when you open the cap and the pump cutting out?

No. It's the flippy fuel filler in the T350 that causes an issue. Not sure it merits being a problem! More a design feature.

Tam filler is a simple twist cap in the boot.

Yep never had an issue.

One of the many improvements made in design when compared to Chims and Griffs.

You can actually fill a Tamora to the brim at full flow using the locked setting on the pump so that it shuts itself off when the tank is full.

Just like a real car infact.

Had to laugh the other day when I stopped to fill up.

Bloke gets out of his Jag and asks me if my Tam is reliable. Says he had a Chim and a Griff but sold them as he wanted to use the car everyday.

Looked a bit upset when I told him my Tam was totally reliable and that I'd just done Leeds - Newcastle - Leeds in it using 30 litres of petrol on a 200 mile motorway run.

15p per mile.
