Wish i hadnt watched that........
If you get rid of your Lotus for a convertible Vectra you are out of your mind, I really don't understand why you are selling/trading one of the best handling car's in the world for something so s
t, really please seriously think about this before you make such a huge mistake. If you were looking at a Porsche or even a Hot Bmw/Audi I could understand but not something as bad as a SaabSorry mate I think your absolutely barking

Got to agree with Boggy there. You had the PERFECT fleet......a Focus (cracking car) for the day to day stuff.........and a 111R for fun. Trade them both in for a DIESEL (I repeat) DIESEL vectra convertible?! Insanity!
Back to the Elise SC......I really don't see what the problem is with the rear spoiler, it looks fine to me. The wheels and elephant trunk exhaust however are a different matter.
I still won't be planning on getting one. Honda conversion for me in a about a years time I think.....

I understand why people go for conversion's but for on the whole I feel that Honda/Audi powered cars for for track day use only? Simon, Randy etc have done some cracking work on these kits but they are to bloody fast for the road, I've been in all variants and that SC Honda/Turbo Audi are stupidly quick, I'll go as far as saying I was actually scared when in the passenger seat. There's a point on the road where to much power is dangerous? I'd say around 250 - 275 bhp in a car as light as an Elise is enough, I'll be updating suspension brake's etc before I go for more power
For the most I'd say the S/C Elise is about as much power as your ever going to need, its the complete package where as your always going to have to spend money with a converted car, it's really an ongoing development of each car
I'm not knocking them thou, If I could paddle as good as Randy, Washly, Simon etc then my Exige would be sold and I'd be racing but for me the Exige S is quick enough
