Hi guys. I'm looking at playing around with spread betting and possibly binary bets and was wondering if anyone could suggest a good site/platform for dealing in relatively small amounts (tens rather than hundreds/thousands), just to get some experience and insight. Have looked briefly into igindex and CMCMarkets, anyone got any epxerience with these for small bets?

Have currently got a Transact account on which I do long term trades on stocks along with a few funds but just want to try spread betting.

Thanks
James

You need to read a bit about this before you take the plunge as £10 is not a small amount to be dealing per point. Spread betting is extremely difficult to make money from if you are just position taking as like any bookmaker the value is lost in the spread/odds offered. If you want to deal in small amounts to get started ie. less than £1 pp try finspreads or IG Index, they both do introuctory period where you can deal for as little as 0.10p pp.

Cheers for that, I did'nt mean £10 per point don't worry! Those 0.1pp sound good to start off with, are they good sites though?
