Hi,

I have a 3 yr old mini with TLC but it's low mileage and has only been serviced once at 10,000 miles. Should it be serviced annually or when the scheduled service indicator says so?

it's interesting.. just the indactor.. but is there a little clock showing on the odometer - if so it needs a 'time' serivec.. which will be the brake fluid change (you get one of these for free in with TLC).

just phone your dealer - they know all about your car from their computers.. big brother is watching!

post up what they say here though. it'd be interesting to here.

first service is only an oil change.
then it's brake fluid
then it's inspection1 which is oil and filter i think and possibly some 'adjusting'..i haven't got that far yet! wink

The MINI dealer won't service your car unless the indicator says it is time, or you are a few hundred miles from the recommended service (recommended by the dash display).
My wifes car had the five year TLC pack, and coming up to its 5th birthday was 1500 miles away from the recommended service, the dealer would not service the car, saying that they send the TLC voucher away to BMW to redeem their service costs, if it is not 'due' then BMW would not pay.
We ended up renewing and getting the TLC extra service plan, which will see the car through to its 8th birthday (the car is 6 this month, owned by my wife from new)
