BMW Clubsport?

Hi all,

A colleague of mine has just bought a 325i Clubsport for her son. I didn't think they made such a thing; I thought they were all 330's. There is a link to the car here:

Any help would be greatly appreciated, don't want her being ripped off.

Nope.. the clubsport spec was only available on the 330.. I guess it's possible that someone individually spec'ed the colour and bought second hand wheels. The front splitters are also available after market.

Like slurms said, may look exactly like a clubsport but no way is it. Aslong as they didnt pay a premium for it being a clubsport i cant see there being any issue of being ripped off!

I think its a cock up, if you look at the 330i Clubsport listed underneath, the descriptions are identical (things just listed in a different order), as are the pictures.

Yes. Clubsport only came as a 330ci.
So long as she knows what it is, and is happy with the look of it, there is no problem.
She does need to find out if it is based on a Sport or not, as this will make a difference to value.

That website shows an identical 330 clubsport with different plate but same mileage, spec, etc as the 325 listed. Same price too. The 325 must be a mistake.

However, £14k is barmy money for a E46 330ci.

It's definately a 325, the guy says they make it in europesounds to me like it's an import 325i!! I've spoken to the dealer on her behalf and they've agreed to swop the deal to a 330 clubsport they have in stock.

She put a deposit on the 325i thinking it was a clubsport, as she was told by the dealer it's a european version of a clubsport with a smaller engine, which would have been ideal for her 19 year old son. She told us at work about it and we obviously realised they only make the Clubsport in a 330, and after looking at their website realised they had a 330 for the same price but a few months older we told her to swop her deposit to the 330. The delaer was a bit reluctant but after I spoke to him he has agreed to swop the deals across.

Shes bought her 19 year old son a 330i clubsport - she needs her head checking.

Tell me about it, he wanted an M3 and nearly got one but understandably the insurance was a bit pricey!! He's been running around in an 04 plate 318is Coupe with all the M-Tec bits on since he was 17!!
