Me, Barretti and Johno had a Bit of Roof Masacre late last year...hey its what Griff Boys lurve doing...Chopping a few roofs so as we can join the chimps with Golf clubs snuggly put in boot with roof off
nah firk the golf clubs
Anyhow, Mark I is nearly finished and I Thought I would share some pictures with you.
We went with the idea of an S series type .Cut it half and FG'd a lip on the underside of
one side that would allow the other side to sit on it giving a nice seal. ATM I have had it on the car and even though one side is slightly higher than the other about 1mm ( will sort out once test driven as may need thinner seals). Think it looks pretty neat

ok it needs a clean

Well Done Simon; I can certainly understand the need for improving the centre panel stowage: it's a PITA.
I did wonder if there was actually a need for the lip though. Could not a length of extruded 'T' or 'H' section rubber seal be bonded to one half leaving the other half to be inserted at fitment? Maybe you've investigated it; I doubt it'd look as neat as your result from the outside but would probably be less intrusive on the inside. Wotcha reckon?

Without trawling through the link what did you use Moose and how's it holding up?
So mine is a fast one then

I've just bought myself another Targa panel which I also intend to murder.
Only I have a different idea about how to do this which I've been keeping secret.
I'll keep it secret for a bit longer but with any luck I'll have a working prototype I can show you soon.
