Sorry, this is no help to your problem but could you count how many teeth there are on the propshaft trigger ring for the speedo sensor for me? Need to recalibrate my speedo and don't much fancy trying to count them with the diff on the car rolleyes

Many thanks if you could! thumbup

Mines 15/16 (can't read my scrawl!), but as said before I don't know if they are all the same (depending on instruments, box drive for ecu...)

Bcensoredcks! That's different to the number I've seen previously. Mine has a serp & T5, but still a GKN if it helps?

Is this the same diff as the Jaguar, (Salisbury)? If so then Quaife wanted around £1200 3 or 4 years ago. What's shagged about it as the C&P don't normally give problems unless the pinion bearing collapses.

All i know is its a GKN finned diff that came off a 94 Chimp or Griff it was supplied brand new from TVR was fitted on a car and went Kaputt after only ten miles or so . I think Ill have a look at it next week and see if the crown and pinion are fubared . And if they look okay see if i can get it re-furbed .
