Is anyone else concerned?

Hi,
Season is just over a month away (provisionaly)
and i believe we still have no written regs.... No confrmied race dates....
When i rang the BRSCC they seemed fairly unhappy talking about the whole thing?
Also what happened with all the promises of TV coverage etc etc.
From the outside it looks like it could be a great year for the series, however i'm starting to wonder if it's actually going to go to plan!

Situation Normal... Its been like this ever since I started racing in 2001.. and thats with 4 different series organisers and two organizing clubs.
And to be fair the BARC were little better at confirming the dates
The dates though are 99% confirmed and unlikely to change..
The delay in the regs being published is due to us going to full Championship and the usual MSA arse in hand messing about... with wording and generally being ultra efficient <LOL> There is also some wrangling over the name ( the msa initially asked for 6 grand to use it !!!)
As regarding the actual technical regs, they will be as sent out in nov/december heck there is only about 3 lines for each class
although with all the other sporting and msa bits they add it will still be a 30 page document !!!
If its any consolation a couple of years ago we only had the dates and entry packs a week before the first race ( actually i think that was our last year with barc) and they chickened out and cancelled the first round on the thursday as they didnt have enough entries... I thought they had done well to get as many as they did in such a short time... I dont see us having the same problem this time in any way...
Actually them getting the stuff out to us late has its advantages, in that they then cant complain when I sent my entries in the day before
The BRSCC did shoot themselves in the foot slightly, announcing the new package with TV and everything, Only to have the Race Director leave, and the replacement back track from most of it..
There is a slight chance of TV but it requires someone to find 15-20 worth of series sponsorship to cover it... there are a few of us working on it.
To be honest Im more concerned that my car is still in bits on axle stands and rather than working on it yesterday we went to the pub for lunch
still we did put some oil in the gearbox which is nice..
