V8S Fuelpump relay location?

Struggling to get the old girl back on the road after an enforeced layup. Fuel pump is fine, but has a direct lead from the battery at the moment due to no power through the loom. I think there's a good chance the relay has blown, but can't find it. Anyone know where it is? Its seemingly not on the relay board and if its anything like my borther's Griff it will be buiried up under the dash somewhere..

It's hidden away alongside the fuses in the passenger footwell.

From the bible:

"The yellow fuel pump relay, brown injection relay/diode and 20A injection fuse are incorporated into the ECU wiring loom by the ECU below the glove box compartment"

It's one of two metal cased bosch relays on flying leads close to the ECU. (The second one is the main power relay for the ECU.)

Quick look in the right place reveals a bit of a mess. That's TVR wiring for you..

Heres a numpty qustions for you, if I ever need to find this what does the relay itself actually look like?

See those silver things at the bottom - they are relays. Can also have a plastic housing.

Not all of the relays are attached to the fuseboard like that; couple next to the ECU up above the passenger footwell, (or more usually in it). Also a couple dangling loose around my steering column, (central locking - at least that's what suddenly works again when its given a thump.

I know it sounds unlikely, but in the event of a random electrical failure and the fuse seems ok, check the relay. Its basically an electro-mechanical switch and they have a habit of jamming. A gentle tap on the road has been known to free them up as a running repair..

Ha ! that was taken after hours of untangling and the amputation of the two alarm circuits that had been sewn in to confuse... Maybe I should have retangled it so that V6 owners recognised it eh ?
