One cannot imagine Ron's ever capitulating to excreta such as Mosley.
On the other hand, if it were a matter of keeping one's family together, or having a final few years to spend time with one's children before they're off on the own, perhaps the temptation to step away from an all-consuming job would not and should not be resisted.
If so, no one could blame Ron for that. One possibly could interpret this as another unjust consequence of a Mosley vendetta against people who have been more successful than he and who stand up to his bullying.

It will be sad to see Ron go, i just hope it's the media exagerating once again. I think if its Mercedes that are pushing him to leave its probably because he blew the wistle on the spying saga. If he goes and its not for family issues then i'm blaming it on Alonso. A bit childish i know but i've got no time for the spanish mard arse. Lets just hope he stays!

Someone somewhere wants Ron out big time. I assume they are using the same spin and smear tactics as neu labor to do it. Perhaps the recent witch hunt at ML has been fully documented and may or may not one day appear in someones memoires. That was a guess on my part but there has to be some external reason for this renewed attack

Hopefully he'll mention Mosely and Bernie and give away a few secrets.
But I must admit I'll be really sad to see him go. We seem to have few enthusiasts left at the top.
I saw him at Goodwood FoS one year in the No. 1 McLaren. There'd been an accident on the hill and he'd been forced to switch the engine off as he queued to get on track. Year one or two this was.
I went up to him, apologised for intruding and thanked him for everything he'd done and the entertainment he'd provided over the years. He took his glove off, shook my hand and thanked me. We had a short conversation and then his missus came over so I wandered off. He seemed so pathetically pleased and excited to be in the car. The silly grin on his face was just like the one I had when I sat in an F1 McLaren at Silverstone - in the Paddock Club. Well, more on it actually. It was a tight fit.
