Off to a nice chap called James from Gatwick. He was the 1st serious person to view the car and the rest is history. cry
She is my first TVR and I have enjoyed every second with her. My next one will have a lot to live up to and will treasure the last 2 weeks with her.
I will miss her dearly.

So the time has come and what a heart renching feeling watching her go off down the road knowing she will not be returning cry
Thats when it really hit me at that point.weeping
On the brighter note I will be back with TVR again. I know the new owners will love her as much as I have and I hope they enjoy every second.
Why do these cars make you feel this way?
You never forget your first and I will never forget her.

Off to hit the whisky hard and then try to look at the classifeds tomorrow!
(if I can see straight)

Plus thanks for all your guys help but I will be needing it again!

That was a nice looking car Gareth - Out of interest why did you sell it, and what are you looking for now?

Well I always wanted from the start a 4.5 (if you read my previous posts)but was let down on a couple and was offered THE BIG DOG. So, I went and seen her and fell in love.
I said at the end of last year that I would advertise her and go for the 4.5.
So I put her in the adds and if I didn't get any much interest I was more than happy to keep her for another year. However, The first person to see her felt the same way I did about her and wanted her.
I never scrimped a penny on her and any thing she wanted she got.I even just finished putting the new carpets in this week all for the new owner to enjoy.
As for better the devil you know....

Wow that was a great looking car!

Mine is a 4.5, but much more sedate looking and almost blends in when Mr Plod is about.

But what is the real difference between the 4.2 and the 4.5 engines/cars?
I need a good book! What do you recomend?
