Can anybody help please?
Discussion
Hi, can anyone reccommend a good grandstand seat for the race this year? does anyone know the name of the grandstands that I should be looking at?
Also looking to join the ACO for use of their facilities
and I was wondering if there is a all in one place to buy a GA ticket, grandstand ticket and ACO membership.
Many thanks
Kam

If you are going to get ACO membership anyway, then do it all through Team Langoustine.
Tribune 18 (ACO) with showers/toilets/bar/food and the best views + Club 24 membership + T shirts + General entry pass etc £200.
I believe they have all grandstands along the main straight available.

I should be on commission for this!

I personally get a seat in Tribune 34 as it overlooks the pits, good at night, great for the start & finish, near all the bars at the back of the village , gets plenty of shade when its hot and shelter from last years rain and best of all its got a press bar which we frequent quite a lot over the weekend

I am kam's brother and went last year and managed to blag a seat in one of the grandstands opposite the pits
Thanks for the information chaps, I will give Andy a call.
I used speed chills last year and they were pretty good but this year I am looking to book some seats as well as join the ACO.
What does £200 get you? is that ACO membership, GA ticket and Grandstand seat?
Thanks again, Dr T & kam

Been going to Le Mans from 1996 and always get a seat in Maison Blanche tribune. It's good for action at the Ford Chicane, cars entering the pits etc, and you get a pretty good view all way up the pit straight, and the noise is particularly good. Also, as I park in Parking Blanc my motor is nearby and walking is minimal. Since the major improvements two years ago to the pedestrian area at this tribune there's now a bar, cafe etc nearby too.
This is also a great place for night time watching and also after sunrise. It's usually pretty empty too between, say, 4:00am and 10:00am and access is normally easy as the marshalls are away: try it (plenty of interlopers with GE tickets do)!

A PS to my comments above. I've also been to Le Classic twice and both times been in Legache Tribune which is in the pit straight. This is a good place to be because of the nature of the racing and plenty of action going on. Also the sound of 6-7 GT40s going by up the pit straight canyon is something else!

One good thing about T18 is you can buy a coffee in the stand, or pop down stairs and have a quick hot shower to warm you up.
Also the loos are very clean as opposed to no toilets at all in other stands.
Very good choice. It's where I am too.
Fantastic, hope to see some fellow PH members there!!Also the loos are very clean as opposed to no toilets at all in other stands.

There does seem to be quite a few PHers going with TL.
Their allocation surely can't be that big, so you are bound to be with other Phers in the grandstands if you go with them.
Their camping packages are in Houx/Annexe/Beau/TL dedicated site, so it would be hard to see how the PH members could be grouped together on the sites.
Their dedicated site only has 100 vehicles. And I know quite a few PHers amongst that lot.
If you want to be with a group solely made up of PH members, the only way I know is with WRR. But I suppose if you want to include grandstands with that package, then TL may well be the way to go.

I'm booked with TL. They seem to have all the bases pretty much covered in style.Their allocation surely can't be that big, so you are bound to be with other Phers in the grandstands if you go with them.

Didn't get into their enclosure, but into Houx which seems preferable to BSJ.
Also, included grandstand tickets and HOux for almost same price as BSJ with no seats though Speed Chills.
bargain!
