Hi Guys,

The paintwork on my 360 doesn't polish up very well so needs some serious TLC to bring it back to mint condition. Is there anyone you all recommend using to get my car back to showroom condition?

If you also know who is great for door ding removal and alloy refurb then that will also come in handy.

thanks

Craig

Hi,

Did you but this as a project? Not wishing to be rude, its a genuine question based on your other post about the gears.

Cheers

On the basis that it need polishing and 2nd gear is sticky when cold you come to the conculsion that it's a project car? Hardly grounds for a nut and bolt restoration is it?

Just been bought... paint needs attention ... the alloys need sorting. I would and have bought cars like this in the past, as a little project. If this was the same, I would think it would be of interest to lots of people on here to see it progress, no?

Yes I bought it knowing it needed a few bits doing to get it perfect but paid less for it accepting I would do all these things. She looks lovely and to most people the polish on her is probably fine but I am a perfectionist with my cars and like everything to be perfect. Which of course no second hand car is so I always get little bits done and buy through trade where possible. I do love it so don't get me wrong.

Anyone used a great Zymol person before you can recommend?

Good logic! smile

As for Zymol, I've not used anyone but there is at least one chap on here who does Zymol tratment and is rated - I'm pretty sure he goes by the name of DaveZymol (might be ZymolDave?) so could be worth a search.

Good luck getting the car sorted

Another person you could try is Paul Dalton, of Miracle Detail.

http://www.miracledetail.co.uk

Paul is a master at repairing paintwork (removing fine scratches etc.) and I've always been delighted with the quality of his work on my Lambo and other cars.

He is based in Tunbridge Wells.

Kind regards

Steve
