Book flexiplus - avoids queues, riff raff etc - then, when you arrive at check in, ask the girls to 'phone ahead to the loaders who will then direct you onto the single deck (high loads) section. This is wider between the walkway 'kerbs' than the normal compartments where you do have to concentrate if you want to avoid kerbing your wheels. I found this much more relaxing in the F430.

Anyone traveled on the Euro tunnel in a Gallardo or 430 as a have an R8.(Same size)
Are the normal car trains wide enough ?
don't fancy chewing up the rims !
no point posting on the Audi forum as I would be waiting all year!
Thanks
Jamal
Took the Eurotunnel last year and width and ramps are not an issue on the train. The speed bumps on the approach to the ticket booths and customs need to be treated with respect though. Are the normal car trains wide enough ?
