Just a rant that I need to get off my chest!
Why is it that in torrential rain I can leave the sunroof of my winter "snotter" fully tilted open all afternoon and not a drop of rain gets in, yet in my P&J if someone in front is even over-exuberant with their screen washers my drivers side footwell fills with water! AAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH!

I had the same problem and I *think* I might have solved it ! Always got about an inch of water in the drivers footwell, but since re-sealing all the bits last week its been dry (touching wood now)

I used black silicon to seal all around the brake fluid reservoir where the sealant was no longer sealed, then for good measure sealed around all the pipes going through the bulkhead at that point. So far so good and only took 10 minutes !

Oh and I also sealed all around the plate that covers the clutch fluid reservoir. On first inspection it appeared to be sealed but looking closer it was obvious that the plate had been removed then replaced over the old seal so it was open to the elements
