CV8 Grille - Is there a Holden badge underneath?

and if so does the VX badge pop off or is it glued on?
Not bothered about the "snob factor" but would like to see the original if its there?

The Vauxhall badge is a solid badge to hide the Holden lion underneath.

So when you re-install the correct Holden badge, there is some shape behind it, as opposed to a flat badge.

Unless you have a different type of grill from my 04 CV8, the VX badge is held in place with some clips, but there wasn't a Holden badge underneath.....

Just replaced mine. Once VX badge removed, the shape of the Holden badge is underneath, so when lion is fitted the result is 'see thru'. It is held on with a kind of double sided tape and has 2 alignment pins. Once the 'Lion' was fitted, car goes faster

Makes you wonder how much Stu paid for the VX badges to be made..only to have them yanked off again and the proper ones put in place.

Makes sense now, I could see the back of the lion but didn't want to prise off the griffin to find nothing underneath. So the Holden badge is NOT underneath, just the "shadow" of the chrome badge?

I bought mine with Holden badges on the front grill, boot and steering wheel and just bought this to finish off the transformation.
