Hi guys,

I am on business tomorrow at Fort Dunlop which I believe is near the Lambo garage?

Now does anybody know if you can go and have a nose about inside the showroom or will they only show interest if I'm after buying one? Anyone know a contact there who may be willing to show me around?

I suppose I could tell a white lie if it comes to it....

No seriously, I am interested to hear if it's possible as I noticed Lambo's all colours of the rainbow from the M6 motorway yesterday and would love to have a closer look..

Cheers

Adam

As an idea - try ringing them and ask if it's OK to visit...

Lamborghini Birmingham are in business to sell Lamborghinis (really they are - does that come as a shock?!?!) and would prefer you to buy a car should you visit but, they won't stare at you if you just arrive and/or get you moved on by that passing policeperson!

It would be an idea to call first and ask before you visit... if you aren't buying a Murciélago they might have a few smaller things you could buy - and I don't (necessarily) mean one of the Gallardo's they may have on display!

The sales staff will probably insist that you don't get a test drive if you aren't actually buying and might prefer you to wipe the mud off your wellies before entering as well... good luck!

Just pop in,its a free world. The guys must have started somewhere as dealers wither it was at VW or Ford and i am sure are used to people going in for just a browse. One of the guys actually frequents this forum(not sure of his name YET), a mate bought a Gallardo from them a year ago and the salesmam commented on stuff that i was posting here when the door handle fell off/fuel cap jammed etc and the trade-in value he was given come selling on time.

My local Aston Martin/Lotus garage had kids and all sorts visiting on Sundays and they never had any issues. I agree with the test drive aspect as i have never took a car out on a test drive with no intention of buying it.

I emailed Lambo Manc about this a few days ago and had a nose round on Monday. The staff were really nice considering I wasn't exactly about to buy an LP640!

It's a dealership like any other and I believe it shares premises with Bentley. I wouldn't worry about looking round, as soon as a salesman asks if you need any help just say " not at the moment thanks just looking". That soon sends them back to their desk trying to look busy. Seriously though most the time there happy to chat so long as there isn't a serious buyer in who they may be missing out on.

Just go in there! There's no prerequisite of purchasing a car on entrance! Dom's a top guy as is Martin. I was in there almost everyday before I eventually bought one! lol
