Hi all, last year we attended this event disguised as a TVR paperbag

http://www.supercarsunday.co.uk/events/supercar/

It was a most excellent day out, with free access to the Heritage Museum, displays through the day and (for those that pay) culminating in high speed laps around the Aston Test Track. That's the highest speed I've ever overtaken a Police car - thats for sure!

Anybody interested in attending this year?

Oh, so just stick any car on the back of a recovery truck and cover in a tarpaulin?

Should be easy enough laugh

I've been twice in my previous cars ( Esprit GT3 and Sport 350 ). It's okay but does get a bit boring by the end of the day.

I've some pictures on my web site www.adrianmugridge.co.uk in the events section, supercar sunday, 2002 and 2006.

Did the test track in the Noble 2 years ago - leader said "speed limit is 70mph or else you're off the track" - we all grinned as we followed him up to 140mph. smile

AMG - you too ha? He was in a Range Rover V8 thingamy bob. Went like shcensoredt off a shovel. Even the Old Bill had problems keeping up with him. I do think they were there to show us they'd give a good chase in their Jags if we misbehaved on the way home!
