or does it seem when you browse the ads on ph that TVR prices are finally stabilizing or slightly up???
Or is it misperception, seasonal or wishful thinking (as nobody buys the cars???)

I believe that prices are stable possibly even rising depending on what model you're after or trying to sell.
my theory is that now it looks certain that TVR will never be made again and the fact that parts are easily available and getting easier by the day, and there are enough specialists to do the job for you, people are now coming to the idea that either buying or keeping a TVR isn't such a bad idea.
if you look at the majority of the negative comments on here about TVR, and go into that person's profile you will notice straight away that they have never owned a TVR, some of them don't even have a car on their profile, it's easy to criticise, it's rather similar to the arm chair sports person who are too fat to play sports, and have never even taken part in any COMPETITIVE!sports s
g all the pro's off.I do know of people who have had problems with a TVR, however I also know of people who have had problems with other brands of cars, it's a fact of life.
There seemed to be major panic when the factory shut, alot of TVR owners namely the newer model owners were desperate to sell, I bet those who got rid for that reason and selling for silly money are regretting it now, possibly because they bought some German marque with the money they had left over in desperation to keep a certain amount of sports car street credibility.

Please don't stereotype me. I am a fat bloke, I do sit/lie on the couch and I happen to think that TVRs are fantastic, which is why I bought (and still own) my T350C. I did not want to stereotype and I am very proud of my T 350 (and forgiving when she is "unwell"- reaching for wood) and I am also not planning to leave the fold-
I just think it would be good for our cars (and us) if the prizes would stabilise and settle (the cars are very accessable for the power to pound ratio anyway) -and I think on the long run when we want to continue to have high quality parts produced and developed (with no company behind that- as they are gone for good) and good people specialising in servicing our PandJ then we need them to hold strong classic car values- ow there is the danger of them getting into chav territory and we don´t want to see them in glencheck do we???

Still - its an investment in laughts not money.
And the sun is coming out ! Not going to get much work dine this afternoon.
I was looking for a tamora/T350 from january last year and although i didnt buy ive kept my eye on the market ever since.What i can confirm is that there hasnt been many Tam's for sale over that year period with only slightly more T350's and i'd say that there hasnt really been a drop in price at all.They both seem to be priced similar to over a year ago if not mildly creeping up in price.Its also amazing to see how many of them are still for sale a year later!!It seems some of them do take some shifting,mainly from dealers i might add.

That's an appealing combination. I liked the S2000 I drove a while back but definitely needs more beans. So, drifting slightly off-topic, that looks like a vortech unit? (I was looking into it as one option for the T350 some time back)
Is most of extra torque at top-end?
