Two balls between your legs

Thought that would get your attention. The two circular vents on the bottom of the instrument pod on my car look like Marty Feldman’s eyes, god bless him. I just can’t keep the bloody things pointing in the same direction. They rattle around till they eventually shut. Having not pulled them apart is there a fix? I’m thinking the pod may have to be disassembled.

I've been thinking of putting a bit of grease or vasalene on them.
Actually only one of mine roams around.

Mine are very solid, it's a bit of a struggle to move them about to be honest. I just have them closed all the while.

I wouldn't have thought it too difficult to get to though - the top is easy enough. (Famous last words eh...)

Anyway, I am not sure my "bit of grease" idea is good because of when you want to adjust, greasy fingers.........

Agreed. There must be some felt or something that applys some presure to the vent. I will explore next week and post some pics of my adventure.

I had a stiff ball changed under warranty when the car was new. Problem is it's a slightly different shade of colour to my other ball.

Maybe I need a check up?

My balls are quite stuff and are always cold, should they blow warm air too?

i have the same question as paul, mine have only cold air and the fan dont seem to blow air through them all i get is a draught

I think they are all the same in that they only blow cold air. Could be wrong but I think this is the case,

Same with mine...cold air only. It's designed to cool down your sphincter when you do something spastic in the TVR.

My balls only blow cold air at when the heating is set to a cool temperature, when it heats up they do nothing!!
