(prepares for abuse)

Had a test drive in the new SAAB aero conv. on wednesday. Loved it, very keen to get my hands on one of those, but less keen to take their shady trade in price for my lovely boxster.

PS the SAAB has a roof that opens remotely from the key fob. How wonderfully useless is that! Must have one.

...are you mad??!!! I take it you don't like driving, then? The back seats in those are useless and it's FRONT WHEEL DRIVE!! Buy a LHD 996 Conv instead.

This is a Porsche forum and johnf is planning to change a Boxster for a Saab, and in his own words....

Tony i think such a car is Nice!...
I would never describe my own car as such...and as for your own Devilish Satanic missile,I would describe it in such a manner..but Nice...? never.

I think we have the discretion not to do Nice!...but after a cute pastel yellow Boxstaa...I felt it was fitting.
Rememeber that Saab is based off of a vauxhall Vectra.

My my, aren't we all anally retentive badge snobs today.
Very impressive.
Oh and the back seats are no use? I assume you have driven one of the new ones in the last week or so?
You must be tall. I am 6'1 and had no probs fitting in the back with the drivers seat set to my requirements.

comment without experience is surely ignornace?

Nice! how much can they do to a Vectra with a realistic budget, that you would expect approval on a Porsche forum.
If you didn't want to be a badge snob, get the Astra Converible,it will save you some money.
