This a pad transfer problem not warped discs thou!

In my case I do not believe this is so as the discs were virtually new (2.5k miles) and were "turned"/"skimmed". As I understand it pad transfer issue would have been resolved by this. Discs can be warped if they are manufactured or fitted incorrectly.

It would appear that there is no set pattern as to who has brake issues resolved under warranty and who has had to cough up a ludicrous amount of money themselves. On a previous thread I enquired as to what criteria was applied by Vauxhall in making a decision. Unsurprisingly the dealers on here declined to comment.

The dealers refer the cases to Vauxhall, and Vauxhall decide.
