Best in the North West?

Hi all,

Can anybody recommend the best place in the North West (or as close by) which specialises in TVR electronics?

My dash display went off about 3 weeks ago and whilst it usually returns to normal after a week or so this time it hasnt!

Obviously I am nervous driving it not knowing any temps and how much fuel I have left... so I need this sorting asap...

I need a garage which will give an honest opinion as it may just be a loose connection and not need any parts replacing. I am not an expert on cars and especially not on electronics so I would be grateful if someone could help me out here with a recommendation. I am obviously happy to pay for any mechanic's time in going through any investigation of this problem.

OK, you need to get yourself to Track V Road, Clitheroe on Saturday. They are having an open day. Cath (Ex TVR), who probably built your electronics in the first place, will be there. She will know how to fix it at a very resonable cost.

Alternatively, go to X-Works Services in Kirkham (07969454703) run by Heath Briggs and Paul Forrest - the ex-factory service managers, who do a fantastic job. They also have links to Cath who can sort out any detailed electronic issues.

Cath Mason has set herself up in business, based in Blackpool (where else) and requires you to have removed the dash from your car, I believe it's quite easy to do but either of the two businesses above will help.

I understand she can fix just about anything with the exception of repairs needing new circuitboards.
