I know this has been dealt with before, but I'm looking to put some decent seats in the Griff which should stop me from sliding all over the place.

I know the Sparco Rev that Panic advised but I think these are not available in leather.
Anyone tried the Sparco Roadster?
Any Recaro's in leather that would fit?

winki spent a long time thinking about this problem ?
answer= fitted rollover hoops and harnesses to them.
stiffens up the chassis, good side protection, does't affect
rear vision, they look the nuts and i don't move an inch while
giving it some beans in the bends now.
fitted it myself to save money and altogether cheaper than new seats!!
i am over the moon with them.

I find that very supportive seats become uncomfortable on long journeys, so I solved the sliding around problem by getting the standard seats retrimmed with alcantara centres.

Hi Gerjo - tried emailing you but it bounced back. I've a pair of Noble M12GTO3 seats in grey leather which I don't know what to do with. Could drop 'em off at Zolder .... Regards, James

hi James,
Do you have any pics? Would they fit? How much?
Email on our website should work.

This would be the way to go. And for the delicate, not so cold in winter or so hot in summer.

You really have to adapt you're driving style when wearing 4 points for eveyday stuff as the movment is so restricted, it really depends on what you use the car for. If it's just fun blasts then fine, but think about leaving in the normal diagonal belts for th mundane stuff . . . .

Very secure though.

I have always found the Cerberra seats in mine absolutely adequate for even track work. I don't have 4 points as I wouldn't without a roll bar, and I'd only fit a roll bar that I was confident was for its purpse rather than for aesthetic's and could cope with my demand for leg and head room . . . It is something I am considering, I I'm just not convinced they look very good frown

I have a cunning plan actually, given my only trip to Holland this year is to the MotoGP at Assen (can't make Zolder again this year frown ), but a group of us are near the Dordoigne in May . . . 2 Griffiths, 1 x Cerberra, 6 like minded fellas, I make it nice wine on the veranda ?

We were staying in Aurillac, but a bit of chooping and changing cuold get us over to you without too many more miles and it would be good to catch up and compare widget sprockets and thingymajigs ?

Johno, what a brilliant idea!
Can't make Zolder either this year so I'm very much in need of some TVR dope.
May is good timing, any idea what week? Aurillac is 2 hours from us. It's a shame our resort won't be open yet in May but I can find you some nice place to stay here if you like.

Let's meet up at our place and have some fun !!! (or I can come to Aurillac, no problem).

PS. can you give me your email address or drop me a line on my email

I tried to email, but it says your email address is not valid ?

Are you getting the same message from mine ? Perhaps there is a systems issues ?

We are staying at the Hotel Delcher (nothing special) on the night of sunday 4th May.

http://www.hotel-delcher.com/anglais/index.htm

Perhaps we could find somewhere better between your place and Aurillac ?

On the Sunday we will have driven from Avignon, via Corniche des Cevennes, Viaduc Millau and the Gorge Tarne.

So we'll have done 520km already that day. I could trim the route slightly, but still a long way.

The following day we are going to Tours via D978 Route des Lacs onto the D5 to the volcanoes and then onto Tours, another 565km. Then home via Le Mans . .

Why don't you stop over the Sunday with us and then join us in the morning for the route and then head back ?
