hi all

I started the car about 3 weeks ago (lovely). Went to start again today but we had had a powercut and the optimiser had gone off and the alarm had drained the battery so i want to change it. Is there an easy way of doing this please.

There is a very easy way that I used a few months back. I've even written a detailed guide which I shall now summarise for you:

1. Go to halfords buy an 072 battery with a decent CCA (say around 600). They do two types so make sure you dont buy the one with about 350CCA.
2. Take car and battery to favourite indie, bung £20 to fit.
3. Relax drink coffee and observe
4. Drive away
