Keys Help please

Key to our 350i is locking the doors but will not unlock them - any clues anyone please?

The rods that operate the lock from the the key mech. and along to the int.lock are held in place by plastic clips,it sounds like it has either just popped out or a clip has broken ,little cable ties often help. Tempus

Just a note that I took my interior door skins off, cleaned and lubricated the locks, latches, links and windows and then let it set for a week.

I was amazed how much better all those parts worked... smother, quiet, doors catch with slight push and no tugging to open, windows purr up and down.
