Evening all,

Ive just bought some of this muc - off stuff as i heard it was quite good stuff, but has anyone else any experience of it. did you find it good or is it another load of crap.

Ive also heard that you can just spray it on and then wash it off and it cleans the bike.

Dont know how good it is, so its now open to the PH Massive!!

Works well for general dirt/debris but baked on dead flies still need elbow grease.

No easy way I'm afraid.

I use it all the time. Does a good job of cleaning everything on my bikes.

I think M+P were doing a deal for 10 litres of the stuff but I didn't want to buy it in case its ste. So far I save used Sdoc 100 bike gel and castrol bike cleaner. Neither are brilliant but the castrol is nearly half the price and twice as quick.

As said above, its useful, but not miraculous. Makes it easier to clean stuff off, is all, but you still need elbow grease and effort.

Dead fly tip #1: a wet towel draped over the fairing panel while you brew a cup of tea rehydrates the little corpses, so you can then just wipe themoff, rather than picking at them like chickenpox scabs.

I use Fenwicks similar stuff to muc-off but (at £10 for a bottle that dilutes to make 11 litres) much cheaper
